I like the Mahogany with its rounded edges. How much stupid amount of money are they gonna be asking for these?

That question scares me  :-\ :sad1:

I really like where Fender is going lately. They're extending the lines, giving more options, without straying too far.

My favorite:

"The body is a rosewood top and back sandwiched on a dark stained spruce middle, 9.5-inch neck radius, medium jumbo frets,‘52 Vintage bridgeand pickup set."

Good god, I have half a mind to go over there tomorrow and try to sneak in so I can see that in person.

got a ticket for tomorrow Hanna
A friend called me today and said he had a set I could have. We are going to go in the afternoon and evening.

Bamboo neck... (10/12) :icon_scratch:

Is Empress a type of wood? (5/12)

I rather like the Modern Thinline, but could probably build something similar from Warmoth for less...

I have to agree!
and I liked it that they are using some different woods, Bamboo, Empress ( I googled it, it is the same as Paulownia )
what I really like is the old 1880s bridge redwood, and the barn door pine...

The year I was lucky enough to go, it was on par with going to Disneyworld when I was 4.

Wow, just wow.

I agree with Max, Fender has a really bright future if they keep on going in this direction.

They're nice enough, sure, but I' guess I've just become jaded by seeing the unique and beautiful guitars y'all have been making out of Warmoth parts.  I ain't all that impressed.

Bagman

Good to see bamboo in something as mainstream as a Fender Telecaster! Apart from that, only the Browns Canyon Tele stood out for me, very attractive figuring in that body wood. I have to agree with Max that's it's good to see sensible, playable guitars from at least one of the Big Two.
