I read somewhere that the Late Freddie Tavares (One of the people in the team that designed the Strat for Fender) played the slide Hawaiian guitar line starting the Loony Tunes theme...  :dontknow:

My favourite, that I can remember, is the 'Rabbit Season, Duck Season" sketch. Also liked the Barber of Seville sketch too, very classy for it's time.

You just had to bring up the Nerve Ending Fairy.  Ren & Stimpy was so friggin weird.  It was really Adult Swim before Adult Swim existed.

Its not a cartoon, but this is a show i used to watch when i was younger.  Rainbow.  Never realised at the time how close to the edge it could be.

NOT real. Freaking funny, but not real. This was something the cast did just for fun, just for them. Never broadcast on television for kids. Still great to watch though.

The all time coolest cartoon ever was Jonny Quest. A Hanna-Barbera 'toon that they only saw fit to produce one freaking season of.  Jonny Quest was an adventure 'toon that was obviously created during the James Bond / Spy Genre / Action / Adventure (ie Mission Impossible et al) craze of the early 60's. (See links below.) And yes I am old enough to have enjoyed it as a kid when it was brand spanking new.  I own the DVD box set and now my son and I watching them together. The opening sequence (below) is over-dubbed in Portuguese but its the only one I could find on YouTube that would work.
