Probably with a Z body, though I could see a Dinky P looking alright with such a weird headstock.  The regular P-bass looks wrong somehow:

That headstock is far out , I would think it would go much better on a Z . I guess that bridge setup would be ok but hopefully it won't run out of adjustment . My AB-1 has that angled bridge to compensate .

I think the fanned fret spread isn't quite the same with these conversion necks as it is on other Novax models or the Dingwall.  I looks like Novax has a lot of different radii (would that be correct word) for the various instruments they build, so I imaging it's no stretch (no pun intended  :icon_jokercolor for them to alter it slightly to retrofit a P-bass for the different scales.  The Dingwalls are way too pricy for me (except the Chinese made ones, which I couldn't bring myself to buy), but I've always been fascinated by the fanned fret thing.

Cool story: 10 years ago (wow I'm getting old...) I did a tour across Canada with my band, and we stopped in Saskatoon where a friend of a friend got me into the Dingwall shop for a tour.  It was *A*W*E*S*O*M*E*.    :guitarplayer2:

I had a Novax Expression model 6 string guitar for a time, and it was one of the best playing and sounding guitar I've ever had. Don't really know why I sold it, but that's another story.

Wouldn't it be cool if Warmoth bought a license to make these necks and offer them as an option? They probably wouldn't run from five to over six hundred dollars like Ralph's do. Just dreaming.

It would be even cooler if Warmoth could offer scalloped fanned fingerboard with 6100 fredts.  :icon_thumright:
