I would say bloodwood..
but only if you like great tone and great sustain :)

Note that walnut requires a finish while the others do not.

I say Gancalo Alves.  Looks magnificent.  Feels incredibly smooth and fast.  The weight is not too bad at all (though heavier than my maple neck that i had before).  The sound is amazing, very warm but it has lots of definition and snap.  MUCH fatter than the other neck I had on that strat.  IT also seems to have some extra harmonic properties that I can't really explain...seems mush easier to get pinch harmonics out of it.

Bloodwood was never an option on the poll but ok...
The poll just has the cheaper exotics (I want more bang for my buck).

My mistake. I did not intend to put walnut up there if it requires a finish...

By the way... I figured Goncalo was probably going to be a top choice, but your quick review has me really drooling over tonal possiblities....

Anyone else have anything to say?
