Greetings,
I always loved the Mike Campell/Tom Petty "Red dog" telecaster and wanted to build something similar as a configuration.

But I do not use the bigsby and I wanted a more adventurous color.
I ordered an Alder flake silver body with gloss nitro finish and a baked maple neck with satin nitro finish, 59 profile, 9.5R and 6150 frets.
I also ordered 2 pickguards cause I couldn't tell which one would look best.

I decided the black looked very dark whereas the white one looked better. So I proceeded to the build.

The switching is 5way and there is also a toggle switch in between the two pots.
That gives us 7 sounds in total
1) Neck
2) Neck - Middle
3) Middle
4) Middle - Bridge
5) Bridge
6) Bridge + toggle on = Bridge + Neck
7) Position 4 + toggle on = All pickups in series
