This is the ebay body I bought before for under $200 and put it on a neck I have already. I'll put some better pics soon...

The bridge pickup is a Kent Armstrong HB90 - his take on the standard HB sized P90. It growls very, very nicely.

The neck is from a '62 Vintage Reissue (1996). That is snappy but light and airy, like I like my strat neck pickups.

I do enjoy this combo very much so far. I had it set up by Phil Jacoby of philtone guitars in Baltimore. Awesome guy that did great work. After bidding on this thing on a lark, putting the neck I had on hand in it from W from another order, getting the HB90, and getting it set up, this guitar cost me just about $500. It's a freaking steal at that price...

Any wood specs? I'm guessing quilt maple top with alder(?) core.

Yes, the best news for me was that it was 1 piece quilt maple top on one piece alder core. I got the body for less than the upcharge would have been to make each of those 1 piece.
