hm...before I heard that song that Jay4321 posted, I was thinking Thrice sucked...I dunno, kinda mixed about them now...

thrice has gone through probably the biggest transformation over their career or any band... there are a bunch that have reinvented themselves (Brand New, OKGo, Papa Roach) and most end up worse off than they were before. Thrice is strange... i'm still not 100% sure how i feel about the new Thrice, but their old stuff was amazing i thought. used to be a GREAT live show, too

I hated old Thrice. I gotta say, though, OK Go puts on an amazing live show. not too much a fan of the music, but I saw OK Go at Bonnaroo this past year. not originally by choice, they were playing before Les Claypool. but, god, they were incredible live. the band to crowd interaction was astounding. at one point, the frontman grabbed his guitar and a mic, and actually went out to a point out in the middle of the crowd and started playing there.
