I know they're cheap enough, but I still hate to buy one specifically for the purpose of destruction but....
Does anyone have a Mean 90 floating around with intact coils? That's ALL I care about. I don't care if you cut the wires, relic'ed it with an angle grinder.
I've decided to keep my Mean 90's, but I'm contemplating putting a buffered dummy coil in series with them. I know it's likely a long shot, and they're cheap - so I'll give it a couple days before ordering. If someone has one that's not exactly adoptable, PM me. No need to comment if you're embarassed about how it got that way.
We can all have our own special place in this world - this one's will be hidden from the world by a pickguard and buffered from the harsh realities of this world by a JFET, where it will blissfully hum away until the end of the world.
