DIY Finishing in a DIY Spray Booth

Just put my new DIY spray booth to work... and work it did! Check out my video below. The guitar body I'm sealing in the video is almost ready for paint...

Ha, looks like it would work well. Maybe have a tiedown for that front sheet or something.

Also, hope nobody thinks you're doing anything illegal in there :P
 
Thanks for the thumbs up and keep the jokes coming LOL! Yeah, as I'm putting it to use I'm realizing that I should put some kind of filter or screen at the bottom-front of the booth to prevent the plastic from getting sucked in, and to keep the dust out. I'm also thinking of installing a light so I could work into the night. The embossed plastic sheeting I'm using is transparent but as I'm spraying different colored paints it's becoming less and less transparent. Luckily, I had a perfect weather day over the weekend so I was able to spray the thick, dark, ugly primer/filler outside. The pic below is after 5 coats of aqua blue...

Great work on the booth, and thanks for sharing.
It really is about the most important part of any spray setup.
