This is a bad ass amp RLW, WTF is it....

I'd take the set that is my own :) well, for 66%, if you see it in 3 parts; pedal guitar amp.

amp: ENGL SE (or, OX amp, build in UK, completely custommade!)
guitar: custombuild Crimson les paul with rosewood top, purpleheart back, NECKTHRU pau ferro/wenge/bubinga, ebony board, 3 humbuckers
pedal: if neccasary? but ok, if I HAVE to choose, a talkbox

yeah, crimson guitars are my new warmoth; for me as a European guy, cheaper and moooorree options! what about snakewood binding with maple purfling, multiply binding around the bodytop and back, and exotic neckthru, finished in nitro or wax+oil, for less than a warmoth LP (taking in account the exchangerate of the dollar vs. Euro), oh with customwound pickups (better than bareknuckles).

I think this will be it : )

It's a Vintone Le Brigitte (I named it, loooong story, and not particularly interesting...) made to my specs, one of the last Vintones made, sadly. No longer in business. He was in a very serious car accident about a year ago, then had his ex-wife drop a custody suit for his son on him while he was in rehab. It's doubtful he will ever recover, both physically and financially. The amp is a kinda-sorta bastard mix of a 6V6-powered HiWatt DR50 output stage with a Dumble-style FET preamp section. Monstrously huge transformers, headroom out the gazoo. NOT a metal amp, but it LOVES fuzzboxes. I'm still discovering what some of the knobs do. Killer sounding amp, but it's recently developed a bizarre hum that I cannot track down. It's a bear to tote, too.

What? I'm gonna be on a desert island. That means no neighbors to complain about the noise.

And i'd get some UBER delay petal to go with me too.

A bunch of wood to build guitar, amp cabinet (or you could always chop down trees at the island for that...) and a bunch of caps/wires for building amps and effects.

Now comes the debate about the tonal qualites of coconut and palm tree woods...

In a desert island I will have the piece of mind and the sea I don't have in the city I live, so a classical guitar is all I need. Picks are optional but new strings are necessary!

yeah, nobody can year you! why in heaven's name a LINE6!?!?! an ENGL SE will blow that amp out of the sky.

Line 6's marketing department is better... seriously though, if you want channel-switching frenzy at least shoot for the four-channel Marshall or the VHT SIG:X or something. All contracts include hula girls to change out and bias yer tubes....

Well it is a very beautiful amp none the less, I like the flame maple cab and the rattan grill, that's killer... :icon_thumright:

I think I had my pic taken with that Tiki when I was in Hawaii... :laughing11:

I guess I missed this thread.

I'd take my Peavey JSX 2x12 combo, my Warmoth Blue Quilt Strat, and my Boss GT-10.  If I couldn't take my GT-10, then perhaps a Cry Baby.

I reckon the guitar I'd take is my half Warmoth half luthier built strat, not even finished yet but I know it's going to be the best guitar I've ever played and that's just from touching the pau ferro neck. My 'pedal' would have to be one of Pete Cornish's all tube pedal boards similar to the one David Gilmour uses on tour and as for the amp I'd probably go with a simple 30 to 50 watt combo from a company like Bad Cat.

You guys are all cheating on the pedal.  I said small... I meant a stompbox or wah or something, not a custom tube-driven pedalboard of doom!  :P

He's a character on "Lost" who has control over the island in the show.

So is a Tonelab out of the question then?  :laughing7:

OK, scratch my above post.  I'll take my quilt blue Strat, and a Peavey JSX full stack, and a Cry Baby wah.  Done.
