I have had many warmoth necks over the years but none of them required a finish. I am planning on ordering a satin nitro maple/rosewood neck. I would like to add a decal ( laser printer not inkjet ) and then perhaps nitro over the decal. I was thinking of using a rattle can version of nitro ( maybe reranch brand ). What are the steps and can this be done and will rattle can nitro harden over time. I know wipe on poly never truly gets hard. I have used tru oil and system west epoxy for projects and both get very hard. I’m guessing I just need to follow the water slide decal instructions and then spray a couple coats of rattle can nitro over the decal. I don’t care if the decal looks a little raised, just want a hard finish and the decal to stay over time. I asked this question on another forum but never got a good answer. Please help, basic explanation would really help as well as I’m not a pro.
