Finally got around to putting the neck on the body lol
I’ve been building this guitar mentally for years and now I’m finally getting the pieces together and assembling. Ever since I had a Daphne blue Strat I wanted another guitar in this color. My lovely wife encouraged me to piece it together while pregnant with our daughter. So this guitar isn’t Daphne Blue; it’s Devin Blue.
I was thinking about a Jazzmaster but I love switches so much (I’m actually adding even more with Duncan TripleShot pickup rings.) On top of that, I don’t play like I used to since my daughter was born and I barely played while my wife was pregnant but my hands hate my 25.5 scale guitars now. So short scale for my tiny hands and a skinner nut width than the usual 1 11/16 but still with the thick neck I like.
Alder Jag body, it’s gonna be a hard tail with a Faction guitars tailpiece (I actually ordered that first lol)

59 round back
1 5/8 nut width
rosewood fingerboard with matching veneer on the headstock
No inlay
White binding
I have a set of Duncan’s in zebra, 59 4 conductor and Custom) I also had Warmoth add a battery compartment in the body because I just know I’ll do something stupid later like add an EMG boost like one guitar I did or maybe make the rhythm circuit a fuzz or something.
