Cream pickup rings

Hi,

Has anyone tried to get pickup mounting rings the same colour as Warmoths cream binding?  The ones I got from warmoth are not quite the same shade.

Good luck. I'm trying to run down some matching creams myself. From what I've been able to find out, we're not alone. Seems it's a notoriously difficult thing to do. One guy went so far as to make his own molds and tint his own plastic so he could get what he wanted. I love building guitars, but there's a limit.

It's tough to get matching cream pickup rings, binding, knobs etc on any instrument. The plastic varies from supplier to supplier. The folks who make the rings are almost certainly the same folks who make the binding, etc.

Just a fact of manufacturing.
