Nice pieces. Can't turn your back on eBay for a minute, eh? <grin>

I'm surprised the guy with the Pau/Goncalo neck doesn't mention that there's an Earvana nut on that part.

The Ziricote neck is nice, but I already have a one-piece version that's even nicer. That's the one going on the pearl white carved-top Soloist. I think I put some pictures up somewhere...

it is nice, but too expensive. also, I doubt it is Ziricote, I don't see any of the "webbing" + he finished it in gunstock oil....

I'm sure it's Ziricote. There's no way to fake that fretboard. I can understand why you'd want to see the same figuring on the neck meat, but I have a one-piece neck made of it here and it compares. The stuff shows its grain differently depending how it's cut. The flatter cuts have that unusual figuring that almost looks unnatural, while the rounded cuts have a more traditional-looking wood grain to them.

It's not a bad deal for that neck, but it's not a great one. Just guessing, but I suspect he's trying to get about 75%-80% back on his cost. So, nothing to write home about, but you do have to consider that those parts are few and far between and he's including the best frets and tuners extant. If you ever thought you'd want a specimen like that, your chances get thinner every day. It's a rare/exotic wood that the supply is running out on.
