Hi there,
I know it's a crap shoot, but I've decided to try to clone the sound of my G&L f-100 II using a Warmoth body and neck.
If I can get close I'll be happy.
Anyway ...
I got set of the 80's MFD pickups that were used in the F-100 II but have never done any wiring of 4 conductor pickups,
and I'm not really good reading schematics so I wanted to ask for your input.
I don't want or need the split coil option so all I need to know is what two colors to use for full humbucker use.
I'll do the phase switch like I know how for a 2 conductor humbucker.
My readings are showing:
Neck:
White and Green: 7.14
White and Black: 3.60
Black and Green: 3.53
Yellow and any other: nothing
-------------------------------------
Bridge:
White and Green: 7.65
White and Black: 3.89
Black and Green: 3.75
Yellow and any other: nothing
---------------------------------------------------------
So My guess is that Green is ground and White is hot for full humbucker? Can you confirm or correct me?
See attached schematic
Thank you!
