Changing my body color Lacquer over lacquer how to do?

Want to change my lacquered surf green body to black lacquer. Will I need to spray something between the two colors to prevent bleeading thru. What steps do I need to take. Tried to search but couldn't find anything on the forum specific to this. Any help greatly appreciated.

I would level sand it with 320 and spray the black.
