cbs headstock width

anybody know how much the widest part of the cbs headstock will be?

i am trying to check if a neck with a cbs headstock will fit into a plastic (non guitar) case that i have - which has a specific diameter. it is a document tube which i normally use to ship necks in.

normal strat headstocks fit without an issue in the document tube. but was wondering if the larger cbs headstock will fit.

depends where you measure it... at the widest (see pic), I get 3" 6/8ths - not including tuners.
