First question is obviously in the title. Curved or Flat pickup rings for Carved Top Velocities?

Second question: Since a top-mounted Floyd has an angled pocket, does it need tall pickup ring for the bridge?

Flat rings. The area under the pickups is relatively flat. Also top mount floyd isnt tall enough to need a taller bridge pickup ring.
