Gibson Scale Length
Wizard Profile
Canary Neck
Figured Ziricote Fretboard
Stainless Steel Jumbo Frets
TUSQ Nut
22 Frets
Cream Dots Inlay

All parts in except body and pickups, which will both be here and ready very soon.

This neck is the main reason I went with Warmoth and I have a feeling I won't be able to go back after this!  Had originally wanted to get a Fender but my ✋ ✋'s require Wizard profile!  The customization options are so awesome and the guys at Warmoth have been super chill about all my questions and everything.

More soon on this first build!

Ahh yeah!  The pics don't even do it justice.  Can't wait to play this board!  I hear Ziricote is real smooth like butter  :cool01:

Nice get! Those are both fantastic woods, and that piece of Ziricote is attractive.

Very cool, I love ziricote, I have several necks with ziricote boards. Also have a canary and ziricote with wizard profile, and aside from my Jackson necks, it's an absolute favorite..

Welcome to the fold! The plus side is you have a vast number of options for that perfect guitar. The downside is there's no turning back. The only guitar I've played that I liked as much as my Warmoth guitars was a PRS, and that thing was $3000 worth of name brand. You're gonna be mighty pleased with that neck.  :icon_thumright:

Before I pulled the trigger on a Warmoth build we were looking at Fender Strats and the music shop was hustling hard for PRS sales...

After playing a bunch of Fender Strats including
a $4000 Michael Landau reissue I remembered....

Retail price = production cost of guitar + 300% 😬

I think I can put together a guitar that's just as good if not better for under $1500.  :occasion14:

Next to Old Spalty, Krank-N-Stein has always been my favorite Dangerous axe  :icon_thumright:
He is a beast...

It's my most favorite to play, it just feels right. And the combo of the Dimarzio's  and density of the walnut make it scream...

Body will be here tomorrow!  Here's one more shot, close up on the frets  :blob7:

Man that's pretty, looking forward to seeing it mated up with a body!

Thanks!  I will post a pic of the body tomorrow.  Found a solid 5 pound hunk of swamp ash with the perfect grain.
