Canada rules the ice in 2010

Remember about 5 years or so ago when Hockey went on strike, and they didn't play a whole season? Yeh, that was a great year.

Haha - also beat Germany in the final  :toothy10:

I guess it was because we were not supposed to play at all  :laughing7: Denmark didn't qualify in the first place - but we substituted Yugoslavia who was thrown out just 14 days or so before the tournament.  The Danish team was called home from summer vacation. Those were the days ...  :icon_biggrin:

Well - back to winter Olympics.

...Leonard Cohen, anyone?

That's not fair.  Canada has already officially apologized for Leonard Cohen as well as Brian Adams

oh -  :icon_jokercolor:

The Barenaked Ladies... yes, someone needs to apologize for that One Week song that raped my ears back when they played it on the radio every 10 minutes.

Well, on behalf of ALL Canadians ....

We are REALLY sorry about Celine Dion ..... and to a lesser degree about Nickleback (although that's pretty bad too).

Hopefully the likes of April Wine, Rush, BTO, The Guess Who, The Tragically Hip, Alanis Morisette, Avril Lavinge, and Shania Twain make up for it.
