At the end of the day you're still Canada though.
Not cool, man. Let them be proud of something besides... um... crap. I have no idea.

Scott Pilgrim!  Scott Pilgrim is good, and it's from Canada.

Not sure why.

Remind me.  What was your record against the US?

Does Salt Lake in 2002 ring any bells?

The US played a great game, but we played better!

Canada brought the world Neil Young and French Fries covered in brown gravy and cottage cheese, so they're not all bad.

1-1.  You won by the rules as they stand and everyone knew the rules so more power to you.

That said, I despise tournaments formatted in such a way where a team you beat can come back and beat you once to win it all.

Just so you know some of the things Canada can be proud of:
Insulin
Basketball
Superman
The telephone (yes, Alexander Graham Bell was Canadian)
And even the zipper is a Canadian invention

Actually, "poutine" is French fries with brown gravy and cheddar cheese curds .... a true gastoronomic feast!

+1
but without the qualifying there would be no way to equally match teams up in the tounament

Silly bickering aside......congrats, they were great games for both countries (and we do share the same rock)  :icon_biggrin:

You make it sound like it's a bad thing.  But the fact is that Canada is the best nation on earth - because Canadians are the best on the ice!  :hello2:

Just in case there was any doubt...

Mmm Canada only half brought us Superman.  It completely brought us Scott Pilgrim though.

... didn't see the hockey game.  I was at work.

I'm just messing him with more than anything else.  I am really competitive, but I'm not one of those freaks who will actually despise someone over a sporting event. :icon_jokercolor:
