Don't ask me to choose between coffee and tea.  I love them both a lot.  Though I have to say, I like tea time much better than coffee time.  I'm usually swigging coffee because I have to be up early in the morning to work on something, but tea time is a nice break in the afternoon.

You should be able to select multiple options if I did it right..

I was wondering how long it'd be until someone would say that

The mental image of what I'm pretty sure you might have been possibly thinking about maybe posting is forever burnt into my brain. Oh god, I can't un-think it!

I can only have small amounts. I hate the feeling of any kind of stimulant drug.

Two summers ago I was completely addicted to Coke light. Went through withdrawals and everything. Eventually I kicked it and now coffee's for studying and tea's for days when school starts before 8:00.

Coffee, large amounts of high quality dark stuff every day. Generally the stuff you get at coffee shops in NYC sucks compared to your average west coast strip mall purveyor, so I tend to make it myself. Whole Foods Organic French Roast, still warm from the roaster, coarse ground in a French press.
Plus tea on the occasional afternoon.
I tried to cut it to one cup a day for a while (stomach rumblings) but that sucked really, really bad. Not fun.

i usually have coffee and energy drink, It depends on the weather.  :laughing7:
I regularly spend a few days over at my friends place playing his Xbox on his 50 inch plasma because I don't have either. I've never had an eye closed in that house.  :laughing7:

I despise coffee so much that I won't even walk in front of a Starbucks because the smell nauseates me. I don't see how people drink that stuff. Same for tea, can't stand it.
MULLY
I drink water or fruit juice

Coffee first.  I usually self grind and brew in a manual drip, but at work I have no choice but a Keurig machine and K-cups.  It isn't good coffee, but it's better than most vended swill.

I'll usually do tea in the afternoon before the commute home.   I like how tea keeps the awakeness going longer and with much less of the jittery effect than coffee does.

For me soda is a just a beverage or mixer.  TBH, I like water over soda during meals.

Cherry Coke.  But for me, its more the sugar than the caffeine.  I'm a sugar addict.  Not healthy, but its my one dietary vice.

I bought...lets see.... over 25lbs of Duncan Donut coffee before xmas.  Mostly for me, some for presents.

Heck, just today I got 4lbs of Hazelnut DD on special.  There is never enuf DD coffee... Never, never, never, never enough.  We shall drink it on the beaches, we shall drink it on the landing grounds, we shall drink it in the fields and in the streets, we shall drink it in the hills....  or something like that.

The hospital I work in serves Starbucks for catering and has two Starbucks coffee shops on campus.
Luckily, I don't have to pay.  :headbang1:
My favorite poison is a grande cinnamon frappuccino, triple shot, skinny, no whip.
However, I would not drink Starbucks if I had to pay...  Plain old strong coffee with a bit of vanilla cream is fine with me.
I also have an occasional Monster low-carb energy drink.

My band has this unusual addiction to Cherry Coke. Liters every jam session/practice. Those are about the most unhealthy parts of my week and the only time I really drink soft drinks.

I don't usually drink coffee,    But I got one now after reading all 3 pages of this thread, I don't know what it is, My wife made it.

After reading page one i had to run to the kitchen and ask the wife "How do I use the coffee pot"

I gotta tell ya, you can add enough sugar to make anything taste good

Black coffee is disgusting! I don't know how anyone can stand something that bitter.
Plenty of cream and sugar for me whenever I have coffee.

Root around in the kitchen for some hot chocolate mix. If it has marshmallows, thats better. Add one packet to one cup black coffee. Stir, sip and enjoy.

I went from about 3-4 pots of coffee 12 years ago to just 2 large mugs per day :) still can't live without it though... oh and I have to make it myself... most american coffee is not strong enough ;)

other than that, I drink a diet dr pepper every now and then... apparently its part of texan law to drink that.

I was actually shocked recently when I realised I was probably addicted to caffeine.

I was wondering why, on my days off, that on the 3rd or so day these almighty headaches and unwell felling would kick in. I thought it was just getting over the shiftwork, but no, seems it is the caffeine I tend to drink more of when I am working than when I am at home, and relaxed.

I would drink maybe one or two cups of coffee a day at work, then if the weather's hot I'll have a can of Coke or two. But the carbonated drinks give me a bloated feeling and can upset the gut a bit, so in recent years I have backed off that stuff.

Having dodged the addiction of tobacco, and been careful not to get into a position to become alcoholic, I'm a little annoyed that the most freely available and less restricted addictive substance is the one that's got me hooked!
