P.S. I want to say that I had no idea that this forum existed when I built my guitar.  I sent the video to the Warmoth sales dept. because I thought they’d like it and they suggested that I posted it here.

Using a rattle can was a lot easier then I thought it would be.  Just patients (and warm weather).  I used the same butterscotch nitro on a mandolin that I finished as a wedding gift. I applied it much thicker as the tone wood was nothing special to look at.  Great color for a mandolin.  I used tobacco to stain the quilted maple.  It turned out really nicely and smells like grandpa's study
