I just picked up a Rosewood Warmoth neck (all Rosewood).
The back feels a bit "woodsy" on my palm.
It almost feels dry and grainy in spots.
I have had great success burnishing my roasted maple neck (it's like glass) and wondered if I could use the same technique on Rosewood?
Does it change the color any if I can burnish it?
Worried it will lighten it up as I am not going to burnish the back of the headstock obviously.
Should I maybe dry some sort of oil 1st?
My 1st non maple neck...sorry for the newbie questions.
Thanks in advance for any help/advice.
