Put together your nightmare wood combination virtual  guitar . Feel free to build the whole thing with specific finishes, pickups, bridges ,  etc.  but keep it within reason( no strat bridge les paul pickups,,etc.)    :icon_jokercolor:

Solid maple body, solid ebony neck, 1meg pots, and the brightest pickups known to man, talk about shrill.

I already posted mine before:

Ugliest:

Jerk.

Ha, don't worry. It's getting the paper-bag style treatment. Once I put a solid color on it, I won't be ashamed to play it.  :laughing7:

Styrofoam. Humbuckers.

OKay..hell..lets go no holes barred..

how about  Strat hardtail  with Linoleum over balsa, NO, make that Formica over compressed glued  cardboard , with an maple neck with ebony fretboard, and one middle humbucker at a 45 degree angle.

What?

I actually like that guitar. Musta been a dud as a player? Musta sounded like a mushy steamy dogturd?

there are some pretty horrible examples in the warmoth 'miscellaneous customer guitars' section

this particular one is made out of concrete:

I kinda liked it too, but I wasnt using it, so I gave it to max.
now max is really ashamed he owns it and wants to cover it with glitters.  :icon_tongue: :icon_tongue: :icon_tongue:

Needs to be decopouged with pitbull pictures ( SP). Needs to have a middle mini humbucker . Needs to have swaztika on the headstock and a pitbull collar studded  guitar strap.

I'm going to build this into something after it finishes the complete 3 year outdoor relic'ing process:

Hmm I might be able to top that with my High School project so long long ago.  I canibilized parts off a horrible horrible knock off with a built in speaker and amp in the body.  Two single coils, a horrible carved bar bridge piece with a knock off bigsby clone that the spring would fall out of when you would turn the guitar.  I swear the body had to have been yellow pine.

Anyways, 6 weeks it became a walnut flying V.  Sure I had lexan for a rear pickguard and it was like a 5/8" body.  But what did I know?  I still played it till I bled or dad complained his ears were going to.

my left arm as the neck and my spine as the bridge :headbang:

The most hideous, worst sounding, and conceptually disgusting guitar I can think of using Warmoth parts (Basically combining all the individual things I hate most in a guitar into one absolutely disgusting guitar.) would be the following:

Agathis SG or Explorer body, hollow with F holes.
Crappy pink finish with those hideous competition stripes and any kind of binding.
EMG pickups.
250K pots with a really shitty taper.
0.1 uF capacitors.
Gibson knobs or skull knobs.
One of those ridiculous hardtail wrap-around bridges with the saddles that do not adjust at all.
Stickers on the body.

Mahogany neck (Apparently the warmest toned wood on the scale...) with the freaking plainest Rosewood fretboard you have ever seen, satin finish.
Headstock painted black (The body is pink...)
The biggest frets there are.
No inlays.
Either a KWS headstock or a tiltback Tele headstock.
A POS plastic nut.
POS Squier tuners, crookedly mounted, and mismatched with the rest of the hardware.

Eyelet bolt strap buttons, with strap duct taped to the body.
