Build me a Tiger, Please.

to drewfx,
I switched to the Strat controls, and will probably drill the remaining holes where I want them.
I chose not to rout for the bridge.  Then sent Warmoth an email telling them I'm going with this bridge:

So hopefully they will rout for this, if it's needed.

Really excited for this!!

Thanks to all.

Tiger sold at acution for $875,000

The WGD body is a good place to start , although Irwin used a 24 fret  deep set tenon neck design .
( like a neck through that stops short to accomodate the electronics.

I'm on my 2nd  Tiger tribute , and have machined my own brass parts before .  You can get raw brass stock and cut and grind it , not that hard with a standard bench grinder and Dremel or equivalent.

As for woods , a maple core and cocobolo if you want to be accurate , his pickup choices changed over the years . The biggest hurdle really is the inlays on the neck .  Irwin put in over 2000 hrs building Tiger.

I use 24 fret Carvin neck throughs as they are the closest and most reasonable .. You have to split the body , but that's not too hard .  There are several good pre amps available ,  I'm using an EMG SPC with PRS Dragon II neck /  Di Marzio V P90/  P90 Tone Zone  all with coil tap/ series/parallel  a 5 way with  blender .. this gives  about every tone you can imagine in a nice tidy package.

Total cost of materials so far is about $1100 ,
