Build based on wide neck?

Hey all!

I was wondering, does it make sense to start a build by ordering a neck first?

I really want the widest neck with a bunch of space between the strings, kind of like a nylon classical acoustic. It looks like I could order a Tiltback Superwide, 48mm nut width.

Let's say I did that, would I then be able to fit that neck on just any body? Or is it expected that I also order a custom body for that type of neck?

I am working on a travel guitar that will incorporate a Warmoth neck.
How can I obtain the width of the fretboard (fret width) at fret 22, 16 & 12 (or around there) on a Warmoth 6 string neck with Superwide nut (1 7/8”) and a 7 string Warmoth neck with Superwide nut?

Thanks in advance for the help. 




P.S. My assumption is the 22 or 24th fret would be the same width regardless of the chosen nut width but maybe not 12 or 16? But I include the nut detail as I am looking only at the 1 7/8” nut, just in case I am wrong. 
My guess is all width are equal to the heel pocket at 22 and 17...

A classical is 2-1/4”, the super wide is 1-7/8”. However it can be ordered with a very flat radius AND most importantly it will fit on any body with a Fender vintage neck pocket dimension (nearly all fenders and all Warmoth’s)

I really like “unified” builds, where the neck and body are clearly intended for each other. You can plan now then order the entire body/neck/hardware combo and Warmoth will ship in one shipment.
