Thanks Aaron. Who knows. It was nearly 40 years ago. But, I'll send a pic of the signature I found on the paint job. BTW, my first guitar was an Aria. After that, I had 5 or 6 Warmoth parts guitars. Three strats, a Mockingbird, the 8 string bass. I used to wait for the little flyer that Warmoth sent out with the blems and dinged parts. I think a strat body was some crazy price like $47 or $68. Can't remember. My neighbor was an excellent house painter. Older guy. He would nitro gloss spray all of the bodies. Then, I would take colored paint and stand on a ladder and drip paint from 8 feet high. Poor guy thought I was crazy. Unfortunately, all of the strats were stolen. Still have the mockingbird body and neck somewhere.
In the lower right corner, the is a signature, "The Kidd" followed by "92". So, it looks like my mistake on the build date. Bass is from 1992, not 88. Although, we may have used it and had it repainted sometime later.
