Just for fun, I did a search on the showcase for Brazillian rosewood with a boatneck contour and a tele headstock.  There were none. Then I opened it up to any headstock.  Still none.  Then I selected any kind of rosewood.  Hmmm - still none.

Then I selected any exotic wood.  You guessed it, there were none.

Wow - I'm usually not one to whine, but I'll make an exception this time and say it would be nice to see One exotic neck with a boat contour  :icon_jokercolor:

Look for VMT1667 and VMT1668 coming soon.  Boatneck Tele necks.

You're not going to make me spend more money are you?  bastards....

It's nicer than the picture shows.

I challange you to prove it :P

Looks nice, but from this pic, the one on your LP is more figured than it...

Bugger! I'm trying to save money to make College or buy a house :sad1:

Yep, my Warmoth tilt back is more figured. But this is the dark, dense, so smooth you almost can't feel it grain. Brazilian Rosewood always makes a superb neck, but this color and grain texture is very few and far between.

Wow, now I'm checking my credit card limit....  :laughing7:

I was expecting to see something more like that Bocote neck on Patrick from Davis' Mary Kaye Strat, but that nice straight grain is really clean and classy looking.
Very cool.

I think i will buy that neck and have them go over it with clear gloss poly.

JK... :toothy12:
The raw feel must be amazing.

Very pretty.  Hmm... my own credit card limit was just raised to something obscene (turns out they'll do that if you call them up and bitch at them about raising your rates)...

Very nice

I just tap tested this one.  Nice full tone, good sustain.  It is pretty tight grained, which gives it almost an ebony feel.

Well I've seen better looking BR necks in the showcase, there's several in there right now. And they are much better looking than this one...I'm not impressed, and certainly not seeing it being worth a grand, not compared to some of the others I've seen... But hey, that's just me.....:dontknow:

I think that is gorgeous, pure class. Of course I already have too many guitars and I've decided I'll never get a thin neck again.

I've got to agree with Dangerous, that ain't no G-piece

:guitaristgif: beautiful skunk combo, though, I'll give ya that

While I really like that one, I have to agree with Doug..
the more wildly figured braz rosewood appeals more to me... like this!!

Now those are stunning...... :icon_thumright:

Thin necks are foir Shredders. I can get my fix of those with my Jacksons. That neck needs some meat on its bones. Trying to wrastle good blues rock  lead/rythm out of a thin neck like that can really hurt your hands.
