Brazilian Rosewood fans

Just a quick heads up to my friends on the board; there is a 1-Piece, Quartersawn Brazilian Rosewood Strat neck coming to the Showcase within the next day or so, VMS2500, that is about the nicest Brazilian Rosewood neck I have ever seen; and I've seen a lot of them. I even own a couple. Price on it will be about a grand but it definitely qualifies as a family heirloom. It has an unbelievable long ring when you ping it. Sounds like a marimba.

And PLEASE tell me it has dot inlays and not blocks!

FWIW, I believe i saw a $1600 all Ebony neck on the showcase a long time ago.

Just for fun, I did a search on the showcase for Brazillian rosewood with a boatneck contour and a tele headstock.  There were none. Then I opened it up to any headstock.  Still none.  Then I selected any kind of rosewood.  Hmmm - still none.

Then I selected any exotic wood.  You guessed it, there were none.

Wow - I'm usually not one to whine, but I'll make an exception this time and say it would be nice to see One exotic neck with a boat contour  :icon_jokercolor:
