Picked up a mini Fuzz Face Germanium at a sale.  Great sounds on humbuckers but is a must-have for a strat.  Having too much fun with the volume knob.

If you're curious/anal about those things (read: a pedal builder), probably. Otherwise you don't, the only thing that matters is that it sounds great!
