Off to see Joe Bonamassa in Long Beach in a few. This is my second of his concerts in a year. I guess I'm a fan. Last time was at the Greek in LA and I sprung for 3rd row. Going on the cheap (yeah, right) tonight and not so close but still looking forward to the show. That is all, just sharing. LOL.

The wife and I have seen him twice in Wichita.  Fantastic guitar player, but bring ear plugs, both shows were cranked to the point that it hurts.

Never seen him in person, but am impressed with what playing of his I've seen online. The opening solo below is a particular fav:

And don't miss Josh Smith's solo about 6:10. :o

Dumble power. LOL

Great show. Anton Fig on drums and Reese Wynans on keyboards still. Makes for a great band. Small venue, packed house.  :glasses9:

Burst power! Joe is a monster and a huge vintage guitar geek.

+1 on Josh, and JD Simo is also a killer guitar player. If you are not aware of either of them they are worth checking out on YouTube.

I don't see any Dumble's in the posted clip. Lately Joe, has been using a bunch of old tweeds. Certainly was last year when I saw him in London.

Did any of you notice who the bass player was in the clip ?  Travis Carlton, son of Larry. Great bass player who plays what Is needed.

Didn't know that and will look into him.

Also, there's yet another guitar player in the background, standing to the left of Carlton – anyone recognize him?

To stage left of Carlton, I'm assuming the guitar player is Kirk Fletcher, I don't know who he is but he is mentioned in the description of the video.

No Dumble sighting at the Long Beach show unless it was on the back row. I was mid-audience and my eyes are old. LOL. Lotsa old tweed, I have read that he is constantly changing the mixture of several amps. Bottom line, he has tone. My wife leaned over at one point and said "I want to hear you play like that". I said...ME TOO.
