Black Korina Tele

This was waiting for me when I got home from work today.   :cool01:

I know the pics are pretty lame due to bad lighting, but I'll have some better ones soon. It is pictured with a delicious Hobgoblin Ale. This has a coat of filler/sealer on it, and it'll get a few coats of tru oil for a matte finish which will go with the raw neck once that arrives. The neck failed QA, so I have to wait a little more on that, but it'll be Goncalo Alvez with Wenge board, no markers and half-scalloped. The guitar will have EMG 81TWX/89XR pups, a Wilk trem, and black hardware.

I couldn't be more pleased...

That is an awesome looking tele, by far one of the finest BK pieces I've seen, and two hums and a trem makes it even cooler in my book.... :icon_thumright:

Thanks for the nice comments. My wife picked out the piece of wood, so credit for that goes to her and Warmoth. I'm finishing it up now and should have some pics in the "in progress" section soon.

I didn't realize the contoured heel came with more shaping on the lower horn, but man it feels great!  :headbang:
