Black Betty: Our first Warmoth Strat

New to the group and based on the pics you've shared, I'm looking forward to learning from some very talented people.

Here's our first Warmoth Strat build, and we learned a lot of lessons. We call her Black Betty, because she certainly goes Bam-ba-lam with D. Allen '69 Voodoo pickups.

Great job on that finish - I love those sorts of finishes that let the texture of the grain come through!
 
Doghair finish FTW!  Everyone should own a quality black Strat at least once.  Looks like you're doing it right.

Thanks. It's actually Kona stain with liming wax. I've done some furniture pieces this way and they've held up pretty well, so decided to try it on the Strat.

One. I say we/our because I tried to let my 13 y.o. help where possible.

Ah, that makes sense now. Good to get the young folks involved in projects.
