Birchwood Casey Gun Stock Wax??

As some of you know, I am in the process of applying a Tru-Oil finish to the back of my Warmoth neck. I am now wondering if after the final coat is done, should I apply the gun stock wax.

I am also wondering if this wax would make the neck feel sticky such as a glossy clear nitro finish.

Your opinions are appreciated.

I have used the gunstock wax on several necks - one the just a lite tru-oil and the other with a glossy tru oil. Both were made even better with the application of gun stock wax over the tru oil.

I haven't found it sticky at all and it worked well. Here's a link to where I mention Tru Oil etc in a reasonable amount of detail.
