Darn if I can find it, but their was a thread talking about Bigsby upgrades. Specifically it started off with Callaham and then referenced another supplier or 2.

I have 1, soon 2 Bigsbys I’m looking to upgrade.  Mainly to get rid of pins, but an improved roller would be good too.

Not sure about that thread but I did all 3 of the Callaham upgrades on the bigsby on my supro dual tone, the roller bar, the 360 option and the string thing that makes it so you don’t need 3 hands and limitless patience to change the strings.

I absolutely love them.

There have been a couple of good threads on the matter, I think I may have even started one. I think the Callaham string-through main shaft is the best thing since a pocket on a shirt. They should come like that from the factory. The Callaham front roller is a larger diameter than the stock, so it will increase string tension over your bridge/saddles. That may or may not be what you want. If it isn’t, Bricks Biggs Fix makes a sealed bearing unit that is the same diameter as stock but much higher quality. His “Super Squishy Spring” is great with a 24.75 scale or with light strings, but it doesn’t have enough oomph for 25.5 with heavy strings. I like the Callaham 360 arm on my B5s and B7s, but I had some alignment issues with it on F-Logo B5s.

Post pictures!

Thanks to VB's thread, I have a B-5 on my JM with the Callaham upgrades (except for the through-drilled main shaft, which I did myself). I used their front roller and the additional down angle on the saddles was beneficial. The 360 arm is a great idea.

I also used a Callaham American Standard bridge cut down for the Bigsby with their Tele Saddles for Bigsby use. It made a really nice installation.

I also got a 1" spring for it. That holds the arm a bit higher. Everything works like a charm.
