This is a PSA for the good folks here at UW. In about a month we have a revamp of the Soloist body planned, with some changes that should make people very happy.

However, before then we plan to blow out our existing Soloist bodies to clear the way.

If you are in the market for a Soloist body you need to keep one eye on the in-stock showcase this week. There will be some high-dollar Soloist bodies coming through at nearly 50% discounts.

Aaron could you hazard a guess at the percentage of increased happiness the bodies will induce?

Maybe it will be for a true twenty-four fret neck rather than an extension. If so, new necks would be new and not compatible with new bodies. If it was just a front rout option being added I doubt, there would be a reason to sell off existing rear routs.

Sooo....if I ordered about 4 weeks ago and these changes take place before they get to mine and I really like a certain change.....I can get that done??

It's not this.

I know people would love that, but it's impossible while also staying compatible with the vintage/original Fender heel specs, and since that compatibility is what gives Warmoth life....

I’ve been wanting to order a purple carved top soloist for three years now… but my neck has white binding. How bad would Ivoroid body/white neck binding look?

Well, I did say maybe. :) Though whatever it is must mean the existing bodies are somehow not compatible with the change, even if it is with the existing heel specs. If it is a front rout option, I am curious why that would need a change rather than just an addition. All will be revealed in time, I guess (y)

Yes, the heel could be sculpted like the newer strats without sacrificing much in terms of compatibility, just need to move one screw hole. And avoid the modern construction neck if that makes you nervous.
