"Big Dipper" pups

What would you guys recommend for pickups that would be close to John Mayer's "Big Dipper" pickups. I was looking for some underwound s/s/s and I've had my eye on lace sensor gold pickups. What do you guys think of em and would they have a sound remotely similar to John Mayer's Big Dipper pickups?

doesnt seem to be any special magic to these pickups, just marketing by Fender...you could have Fralin custom wind you a set that'd sound the same.

Anyone can sound like John Mayer!  Just go to your local guitar shop and have them order you a custom Dumbel clone amp for $5000, then buy a vintage Strat (has to be vintage or else it's no good), then buy a vintage TS808 (but it has to be an original vintage one or else it's no good)...then listen to SRV constantly every day until you go to sleep.
