best thing for tone improvement ?

now that my guitar is on its way (damn the wait is long )
i'm contemplating buying another neck (with mahogany/rosewood or wenge/kingwood) or a loop pedal from loopmaster (i'm tired of effects stealing my tones) or the MXR 10EQ with the sniper mod (that way i'll have an EQ before and after the loop), or an Ethos LTE ?

anything you guys recommend ?

I have an awesome amp for clean tones but calls for an awesome dist channel which i have on another amp, but it lacks dynamics terribly, anything you recommend in that area?

Fulltone OCD pedal! or the boss DynaDrive is supposed to be a really touch sensitive overdrive / distortion. I've never tried it but definitely would like to.

It's quicker to change axes than to change necks on the fly.  Any neck that gets swapped out a number of times is bound to wear out the mounting holes.  You'd be better off getting another body to go with a new neck.  

What are your two amps?  You might be able to get away with a good pedal instead of a tone sucking amp with a good distortion.

one is a plexi 50 clone they used to build to spec back in the 70s here in Israel
2nd is the more familiar Seymour duncan convertible, which is able to change preamp tubes, but it lacks dynamics, totally lacks them.

Tough to "improve" tone without knowing what sort of tone you like... what are you going for?

I'd use an overdrive with that plexi clone - - and/or an attenuator if volume levels are an issue.

that's the problem, i like everything, from megadeth and dream theater, to good old peter green sounds.
i got a guyatone metal monster to cover metal, but it's so-so
i've found that the only way to attain GOOD metal sound is buying a good high-gain amp, but there are none to be found in israel
and also, i've found that i always get "my sound" out of any amp, though i'm yet to try boogies (i did try some for a short time 5 mins or so but can't compare it to anything)
that's why i'm not keen on changing amps, besides i like my clean sound atm.

I dunno
they only sell fender/gibson stuff cause that's what is selling the best, we do have other stores who offer some nice stuff, but the ones that used to sell riveras stopped bringing the knucklehead and we only have the laboga MR hector which sounds ok, or the egnater tourmaster which is so-so i guess
the only amp i really liked form what i've heard was the suhr 100SE+, but it's WAY too expensive for me

Hey, Wyliee. I think I stumbled across a vid of you playing on youtube. If it was you playing the LPS then I thought you were really good. Seriously polished playing. If it wasnt you then I am sure you are good anyway!

Yep Drex, that is him. He is good isnt he. Nice clean playing.

Snouter looks just like Jack. If you look at the pic on Jack's website and then watch a Snouter vid they are brothers or something. Snouter mentioned in one of his vids that he posts on here and I thought it must be Jack. So................... if Snouter isnt Jack, who is he?
