I am building a replica of a '59-'60 Les Paul Jr. Double cut.  It will have ONE P-90 in the bridge position.  I want that vintage tone with a little extra.  I am also looking at getting a vintage sprague bumple bee capacitor for wiring.

Any thoughts on a vintage tone P-90?  So many choices.  I do want it to be a little hotter of a wind.

I know Lollar make a nice overwound:

fralin has their hum-cancelling model:

wolfetone has the mean...meaner and meanest...

the list goes on....

Unofficial Warmoth's very own Troubled Treble winds 'em custom-like, and is a swell guy to work with.

Just sayin'.

Lollar
it will blow your mind
I have been a Lollar fan for years and put 2 Lollars in Barn Door
it is the very first time in my life I can say the first PUs are the ones I wanted.

I am very pleased with my Ian Moore P90's.. I paid 120, and I could basically pick every thing myself, type of magnet, number of winds,  and they sound great!

having said that, next time I would probably try Troubled treble.
