        6105 fretwire

BODY:
        Alder
        Bright red finish
        Contoured heel

HARDWARE (black);
        Sperzel trim-lok tuners
        Wilkinson VSVG tremolo

how's the VSVG? I've been eyeing those as an alternative to the VS100 (which does not come in a "shiny" chrome finish like the VSVG)

Very nice. Classy and elegant. That's a great color combo between the body and hardware.

Thanks alot! I wanted something that had a vintage vibe but with modern features and look.

The VSVG is awesome!!! It stays in tune great with the Sperzel tuners and Graphtec nut. I have it set with an 1/8" float and it can do anything that a Floyd Rose equipped guitar can do, and without the hassle! I had the VS100 on an early 90's Ibanez RT450. It was a great trem but I like the vintage look of the VSVG as opposed to the modern, 2 post trem. Here's a short video that I recorded showcasing the durability of the trem. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sq61zpUKQWo

I swear I hear some Eddie in there, sounds good.

WOW!! Thanks a lot! He is one of my biggest influences. Along with Jimmy Page, Robin Trower, Ritchie Blackmore, Jeff Beck and Steve Vai to name a few.

Well I certainly heard some Vai, and then I saw some Vai when you started spinning the tremolo rod in circles :icon_thumright:

Great job, its a fantastic looking guitar!

Ok Jason, Good job, now we need to get your posts up to 100 by the end of the year  :eek:ccasion14:

Alls you gotta do is go to any thread and just say "wow that looks good", and move on
