The limit of 0.5 ^ n as n approaches infinity is 1. Which means he got there some time in the late eighties because they sure played it enough. Despite that - it was overplayed because it's an awesome song. Maybe if others stepped up their game there'd be more stuff at that level of awesomeness to spread the plays around a bit.

I guess that's like trying to go faster than the speed of light, like standing on top of a light beam, and then shooting a gun ... alas for the poor bullet, just like BJ, there are limits.
