Bass6 build finally started

It has taken a long time to get started on the build but here are a few pictures of the progress of the Bass6 build. I will post more as I work on it.

I ended up having to shim the neck of mine, as did another friend who build one.  One of the coolest instruments I own, for sure.

After a long time of not working on the Bass6 I finally have made some progress. Here are some pictures for your amusement/enjoyment. These pictures are with the stain and sanding sealer. I still have not decided on whether to do Gloss of Satin finish. Does anyone have an opinion on either one?

I am using the Babicz TOM style bridge. I am having to modify the saddles a little to fit .095 and .075 size stings.

I'm loving how this is turning out.  When I finally get around to doing a full build, it'll be a Bass VI.

How are you wiring the p-rails?  Are you using the original style 4 on/off switches?
