I've never tried a baritone guitar and there aren't any stores near me that stock them.  Exactly how different do they feel when compared with a guitar with a scale of 25.5"?  Please give me specifics on how different they feel to you.  I don't really have any concerns about not being able to do certain stretches; Bass has been my main instrument for about 6 years.

Mine feels very much the same, just longer scale length.
I use .12's on mine and it feels about like .10's do on a normal 24 3/4 scale.
I can still stretch & such.  The only major difference in feel is when you go to do some wide reaches in the lower registers, other than that, pretty straightforward.

It's a 25.5" neck with 2 extra frets tacked onto the end.

It's actually a 28 5/8" scale neck, made to fit in a 25 1/2" neck pocket.  It's a completely different engineering than adding two frets to a 25 1/2" scale neck.  What you are referring to would be the 24 fret extension.

What I mean is, W's baritone is exactly the same from 2-24 as a 25.5 scale is from 0 to 22. The two extra frets are just behind the "nut".

28.625 * 2^(-2/12) = 25.5

I have a brand new Warmoth Baritone LP neck if you want to find out for yourself. It's Warmoth-finished and never used, nut is installed and I've never even put tuners on.

Decided it wasn't what I needed and cancelled the project. Then I tried selling it for a while, nobody wanted. Eventually I gave up thinking I might still do something with it but I know I'm not, it's just sitting in a box. Drilled for Planet Waves and I have a set too. Gloss black headstock, maple back, rosewood FB no dots. I'd like to let it go if someone will actually use it just don't want to see it go for $80 on ebay or something like that
