I am considering getting some bare knuckle VHII.

does anyone know how much they cost in US dollars?

anyone with sound experience?

Not sure the price in USA... Tends to be a little higher than the Seymour/Dimarzio....

Haven't played with VHII but the reviews I read are: sounds very close to EVH, has tight low and a low midrange growl, with a WICKED amount of high freqs (I quoted letter by letter).
Depends of what you're after for... Send a email to Tim at BKP, he nails on his suggestions, always... mind that it's more to the vintage side...

I just put some on my 12-string. Like Fernando says, tight bass, punchy mid, and definitely a brightness. I'm going to need some EQ tweaking and a switch to flats to tone the brightness down.  They do seem to split very well though.
Think Perhaps I should have gone with Mules..Oops.  Tim is pretty good on answering emails, especially for someone so busy.

With the exchange rate what it is (Pound to $$) yo uwill be better off ordering them directly from the Bare Knuckle web site.  All of the US distributors have them marked up to like 350 or so for a set.  You can get a set directly from BKP for like 160 pounds, after the exchange rate that is only like $265 for a set.

+1 Definitely order from the site. Much better deal.

Don't know about the VHII but my BK Riff Raff sounds great.
