Back from deployment! CT tele is finished!

There more I see CT Tele's w/ upper toggles and recessed TOM bridges the more I think my LPish guitar is gonna be one. Gorgeous and too many features just line up the way I want it.

I got one of those cases from MF, too. Nice enough, certainly better than your typical hardshell, but they're not as nice as these. More case for less money. I have several of the CSBs now, and will keep using them as the collection grows. They also do stomp box and briefcases quite reasonably too.
Thanks you! That's just the case I need. Looks like it would withstand about anything. Can't beat the price either. It's also cheaper than the one from MF. But may still buy a SKB that is TSA approved. Some thing like this: SKB Shaped Standard Electric Guitar Case

I'm actually getting partial to these ones:  http://www.gatorcases.com/Default.aspx?Section=Products&Page=Details&CategoryID=4493&CatalogID=9161

However, for my "good" tele, I had one of these made:  http://www.caltoncases.com/  Expensive, but the best IMHO

Yeah Calton is very expensive. Too rich for my blood. DOD doesn't pay me that well.

You work for the DOD? Bonus! Just order a "Case for variable tension drawn alloy test fixture", and put a part number on the P.O., along with a recommended supplier. They'll probably order a pallet of them to get a quantity discount. Pull one for field testing once they're in stock, and you're golden! <grin>

If it only worked that way.  I'm Military. They would have to do budget cutbacks after that and I have a feeling they would start with me. "If" they found out I did it.
