Originally Planned on using a different neck on the body...but I'm kinda liking the look of the Gunslinger Neck on it...

As much as I like "Graphic Paint" Jobs...I really am a sucker for a pretty piece of wood...

Late 80s/Early 90s B.C. Rich Gunslinger Maple Board Neck w/Original Nut & "B.C. Rich" Logo Tuners

Southeast Guitars 2 Piece Mahogany Body in the 6.0 lb Range

Pickups will be 1989 Gibson "The Original" HB-R/HB-L Neck & Bridge with a Bill Lawrence OBL "Made In Germany" 450 Dual Rails SC in the Middle

I had an old Ibanez S540 a few year back, like this one... http://cgi.ebay.com/1992-Ibanez-S540-Custom-Made-Guitar-Japan-/230606364614?pt=Guitar&hash=item35b135dfc6 and I really liked the tone of it even w/the stock Ibanez USA H/S/H Pickups, as it had plenty of cutting power and definition due to the Maple Board but without being treble heavy and still retained warmth/bottow due to the Mahogany. It was a nice combo.

There are a few of the newer Charvel "Oiled Natural Series" Guitars as well as Gibson's ZW Camo Signature that use Maple Neck/Fretboard & Mahogany Body....

Rather than taking any chance on screwing up Warren's fine craftsmanship on this body, I called the gentleman who was going to route the body for the PGBJ/SDS-1 and had him hold off. I will be picking up the body this evening and will finalize the finish w/Tru-Oil over the next week.

Once the body finish work is done, I will have it assembled with the uncovered 1989 Gibson "The Original" HB-R/OBL German 450 Dual Blade SC/1989 Gibson "The Original" HB-L pickups...FULL ON BILL LAWRENCE CIRCUIT BOARD DESIGN!!!

They'll be wired up to a Gibson 500K Volume/Fender 5 Way Super Switch/Fender TBX/Vintage Kramer Cannon Jack.
