Horrible news, folks. While screwing the tuners into the headstock of my canary neck, two of the screws completed twisted off, leaving the threaded parts stuck inside. It seems the options are to make bigger holes to get them out, buy a different kind of tuner which means widening to 13/32," or buy a new neck. Idiot.

This seems to happen to a fair number of people. I've stripped a couple tuner screw heads and that's frustrating as hell, so I can only imagine there's a lot of swearing involved when one breaks.

Incidentally, is that a Dano in your avatar Tweed? It's neat!

Yes, Danelectro Dano Pro from a few years back. It's currently my only functional electric. Very comfortable; a tiny bit neck heavy. I really like it.
