I've been planning some sort of a nashville telecaster build with a glendale chimemaster tremolo for a long time now, but the body builder is no longer letting me put a tremolo rout and a tele bridge pickup rout on the same guitar. I haven't called Warmoth yet to see if it's possible or not. It just bugs me that it's not in the builder any more, cuz usually this means that at best I can have it done for an up charge. Ugh, just sharing my frustration...

how do you intend to mount a tele bridge pickup without a tele bridge plate?

We needed to disallow that option to keep people from unknowingly making a mistake when they order, then returning a body to us we can't sell. The good news is you can call in and have us do that for you without an extra charge but likely with a non-returnable clause.

This is a pleasant surprise! Thank you very much for letting me know. I can understand how having it in the body builder could cause some confusion with customers, so I don't blame you guys at all. I can't afford to order any guitars soon, but you can be reasonably sure that this is what I'll be purchasing!

Yesterday, I was looking through the showcase for bodies that might work for this and I realized that a split jazzmaster with nashville tele pups and the glendale bridge/plate would be awesome! like a nashville tele master, but different! The split JM pickguard leaves plenty of room for the tele bridge plate too. I had considered strats and stuff before, but almost everything top routed requires pickguard modification.

By the way gregg, on this showcase body and other split Jazzmasters, and the rear routed tremolo equipped bodies that haven't had bridge pickups routed yet, I am still able to select the tele bridge pickup. If you don't want customers to return unsellable bodies then you better get that cleaned up on the showcase as well.

This is just making me thing of those telemaster things and makes me realllly want one. However, that bridge is really awesome! I hope you do it up and get some pictures on here!

It's not a Floyd, but it does have a Floyd arm on it...Who makes that bridge? Looks like a hybrid of a strat trem with tele saddles and a Floyd trem arm.... :icon_scratch:

I like it.... :icon_thumright:

Nevermind, got it... :headbang:

IME, everything from Glendale will probably be the bomb, but if it doesn't work perfect, don't expect any help from them.  I bought a bridge from him in person at guitar show.  When it got time to mount the pickup in it, it didn't fit.  I explained to him that it fit in a Fender bridge, a Wilkinson bridge, every bridge but his.  Rather than stand behind his product and admit the possibilty of this being that .001% that is less than perfect, he questioned my pickup choice, and gave me his luthier's number.
