Hahah this is not a dating thread :toothy12: I already have a girlfriend :icon_biggrin: ( While she does not play guitar at all she actually learned me how to solder a pickup for the first time, a part of her day to day job includes fixing electronics and stuff. Before that I just bent the wires together) :toothy12:
But this thought just comes to my mind sometimes, that even male oriented interest such as meching with cars attracts women to some extent; but I don't think I have EVER come across any female partscaster enthusiasts.
And I'm not talking luthiers but just ordering parts and put it together.
Somebody once said that "guitars are like Barbies to grown men" , while I guess females more often just play the instruments and be fine with it. I mean, I just ordered a gold toggle switch to match the gold hardware on one of my guitars; it's not like the black one I had before did anything to my playing but I can certainly agree with the "Barbies for grown men" thing.
What you think?
